I have an ipod video but I have a very hard time understanding how to manage my collection the way I want it and not the way iTunes wants it, how can I manage my songs without iTunes, is there another tool?

I use a program called anapod explorer, it allows me to manage songs as if I'm using files on windows, drag and drop, just that easy, the only thing that I don't like is that it does not support videos, it treast them as music files. The latest version I think it will offer video support. http://www.redchairsoftware.com/anapod/
